What are the different types of HGVs?

 


Individuals with an HGV Licence can drive trucks or lorries weighing more than 3.5 tonnes. The following driving licence categories apply to HGV licences: Cat D1 and Car to Artic, C, C+E, C1 and C1+E, C1 and C1+E, C1 and C1+E, C1 and C1+E, C1 and C1+ The DVSA issues HGV licences that are valid for 5 years (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency). Also, it is advised that a person needs to go through proper HGV Driver training for better driving experiences.
